The five-step wizard

Sign in, then click Create assistant on the dashboard. Janore walks you through five short steps — pause and resume any time, your progress persists in the browser until submit. Open the wizard.

1. Brand basics

Tell Janore who you are. The two required fields are your business name and your website URL — Janore uses the URL to crawl your site for knowledge in step 2.

  • Voice — pick one of five tones (Professional / Friendly / Concise / Playful / Custom). This is the personality Janore wears when no custom system prompt is set.
  • Primary language — what Janore replies in by default. Janore always mirrors the visitor's language; this just controls fallback copy.
  • Also speaks — extra languages Janore is allowed to use. Today: French, English, Spanish, Arabic.

2. Knowledge sources

Tell Janore what she should know — websites to crawl, FAQ blocks, free-form notes, files. They all ingest in parallel after creation. Read the Knowledge guide.

3. Channels

Pick where Janore answers. Web is on by default. WhatsApp, Telegram and Instagram each need a few extra steps in the Channels tab after creation — see the Integrations guides.

4. Persona & escalation

Two optional fields: a system prompt that overrides the voice you picked, and an escalation email where Janore posts hot leads and dead-ends within ~30 seconds, with a lead score and a deep link to the transcript.

5. Review & create

Glance at the summary and click Create assistant. Janore creates your brand and assistant rows, queues every knowledge source for ingestion, sends the welcome email with your embed snippet, and fires a synthetic test message to prove the wiring works.
