Glossary

Lock product names, brand terms and idioms so they translate the same way every time. Per assistant, importable from CSV.

Why a glossary

LLMs are creative — by default they paraphrase. That's great for tone, terrible for brand and legal terms. The glossary is a small list of terms the assistant must use exactly.

  • Brand and product names — never abbreviated, never translated.
  • Legal terms — "DPA", "SLA", "NDA" stay as-is.
  • Idioms — locale-specific phrases that should map to a chosen translation.

Import from CSV

Drop a two-column CSV: term, translation. One row per term, UTF-8. The editor reads the file, dedupes, and previews each row before commit.

Per-term editor

Each term has a per-language override and an optional usage note. Edits are versioned — you can roll back any change.

How it reaches the LLM

Glossary entries are injected as a system directive into every chat call. Cost: a few extra tokens per request, no second model round-trip.
